AKC Pet Insurance Takes on AKC National Championship 2016

On Friday December 16th, five AKC Pet Insurance staff members travel to sunny Orlando, Florida to show support for the largest dog show in North America. This year marks record high entries, topping almost 7,000 dogs competing when including other events such as dock diving, agility and rally.

AKC Pet Insurance is honored to have the opportunity to participate in this prestigious event in a number of ways.

The year, you can get a two for one deal. Not only the National Championships also serves at Canine Extravaganza—a fun day for the whole family to learn about and enjoy our best furry friends.

AKC Pet Insurance will again provide the Kids' Fun Zone. The 30’ x 80’ space includes an inflatable bounce house, giant slide, and a face painter. While the kiddos are bouncing, you can chat with an AKC Pet Insurance staff member to learn more about their customizable insurance policies. The Fun Zone will be located within the vendors and concessions.

You can also find AKC Pet Insurance at booth A2 located near vendors and Meet the Breeds. Here you can talk to the AKC Pet Insurance Breeder Support Specialist and learn about all the benefits provided to AKC breeders and their new pet owners. These benefits are aimed at keeping new puppies safe and healthy as they start their life with their new families. You can learn about the benefits of registering with the AKC like the Initial 30 days of Pet Insurance Coverage*, complimentary pet safety handbook, and discounts.

AKC Pet Insurance also has the privilege of participating with the AKC Humane Fund ACE Award Winners by providing these five extraordinary dogs with one year of dog insurance.

Friday will be travel and set up day for AKC Pet Insurance with the festivities beginning on Saturday morning. The weekend concludes with the big event on Sunday evening, Best in Show, where one very special dog earns the prestigious title as well as $50,000 in awards.
